MEDICINAL:
Dill is used to treat colic, gas, and indigestion. It is said that sniffing dill can cure hiccups.
GROWING:
Dill grows in most regions of North America. It needs sun and a well-drained soil, and frequent watering. It is a hardy annual in northern regions, biennial in the deep southern regions, and reaches 2 to 3 feet tall. Dill matures quickly, and self-sows for the following year. Plant in six week intervals for a season-long supply of fresh dill. Plant it around your flower and vegetable gardens to help attract beneficial insects for pollination and pest control.
